This usually happens because the IP address you want to connect is vertual (eg. 192.168.x.x). Virtual IP can only be recognized in local network, and can't be accessed outside (eg. 3G). You'll need to access into your router, and set "Port Forwarding", so that any device outside can access your AVN80X. For more detail, please check the manual of AVN80X |

No, AVTECH provides free DDNS service. You can set DDNS directly in Device.
Please notice that AVTECH DDNS server is a free and simple service.
If you need a service which is more professional and has more permanence.

When you have a router in your environment, you'll need to set "Port Forwarding" to allow all external users to access the IPCAM/DVR under the router.

Does AVN80X work in the network system of a building or a community? |

You won't be able to access your AVN80X if you're out of the building or community, unless you have rights to access the router of the building, and change some settings. We'll suggest you ask the administrator of the buiding to help you set Port Forwarding for you.
For some other cases, you'll have your own router at home, and that'll be the second router, so you'll need to set 2 levels of port forwarding. (First Level: from the building to your router: Second Level: from your router to AVN80X.) |

How can I place a Micro SD card into AVN80X? And how can I backup data from Micro SD card? |

Please notice that AVN80X does not support hot swap. (Hot swapping means to take out or insert Micro SD card without unplug the power first) In order to use the backup function, please note that you have to insert the Micro SD card into AVN80X at the right direction. (Please refer to this picture.) If Micro SD card isn’t being recognized, please format the Micro SD card and then unplug the power of AVN80X for a few minutes and plug on the power again. We have listed out the compatible Micro SD card models in Appendix 4( Link )which should eliminate compatible issue.
Backup Instruction: There are two ways to backup data from AVN80X. The first one is using Internet Explorer. (Please refer to the picture.) The other method is to place the Micro SD card into Micro SD card readers and insert it on to your PC to view the playback or to proceed backup function ( Please refer to this picture.)

That's because your "Push Video" function is on. The push video function is like a key.
When this function is on, it's like your door is locked, so some related operation/setting will also be locked, so that you'll see the best video after push.
These items are what we fix：
1. DPTZ = OFF (make sure you can see the whole scene
2. White LED = AUTO (the white LED will be automatically turned on if the environment is dark)
3. Slow Shutter = L2 (make sure Slow Shutter is on when the environment is too dark) |

After Push Video, why do I only get live images instead of playback video? |

Without micro SD, you'll only see live images after getting Push Video. We'll suggest you follow the appendix of manual to install a micro SD. |

1. Why do I always get "Push notification switching error" message?
Please check the following steps:
(a.) Watch the video of AVN80X through your EagleEyes successfully.
(b.) Make sure your AVN80X is connecting to the Internet (with 2 blue lights indicator is always on.)
(c.) Check AVN80X DNS is 168.95.1.1 in network setting.
(d.) If you still receive the same message after the steps above, please contact your local supplier.
2. Why do I get "Your device doesn't support this function. Please visit Eagleeyes official website" while logging in?
Some functions may only be supported by AVTECH specific product. You may check the support list in the bottom of this page. |

1. Why can't I find my AVTECH IP camera?
(a.) Please check whether you connect to your IP camera in LAN successfully (With the LAN blue light of AVN80X is constantly shining.)
(b.) Double check your iPhone connect to the same WiFi router as AVN80X does.
(c.) Please wait for 3 minutes and try to search again because sometimes the Internet information synchronization still not finishes in the beginning.
2. Why do I get “IGP error” message?
The error message means your setting on gateway is wrong. Please check your information on your router again.
3. Why do I get “The account is wrong” message?
You have to fill in your currently username/password in the “Apply” column to avoid this error message.
For example, if you already revised your username/ password to david/ 1234, you need to change original admin/ admin to david/ 1234 to avoid this error message.
4. Why do I get “Set Parameters Failed” message?
The error message means there is some interference while you are setting your network environment. You need to try more times to setup AVN80X successfully. |

Here are the factors：
Upload bandwidth of your IP camera, router hardware performance, download bandwidth of access device, even the image complexity will affect the fluency.
So, if you care more about fluency, please turn the resolution into "QVGA". If you care more about image quality, please turn the resolution in to SXGA. |

Human Detection Sensor (PIR) will be affected by the temperature of your environment, temperature of human body, and air stream etc. We suggest the sensor should be installed in the environment under 30°C. For more accuracy, please install other external alarm devices. (eg. magnetism reed)
Besides, please be noticed the following items when trying to install Human Detection Sensor：
1. Keep the sensor away from heat source (eg. halogen lamp)
2. Keep the sensor away from unstable air stream/ temperature environment.
3. Keep the sensor away from devices with electromagnetic wave.
4. Avoid moving object which is above 30cm x 30 cm from the sensor within 3 meters, especially moving object that has higher temperature than the environment.
